Do i need to book and by beginner do you mean lerning to push, pump kickturn… or is it more boardslide, 50-50, carve (quickly)? Or maybe both?

      Hi Lois,

No need to book for Beginners or the Group Lessons starting at 10:30!

Beginners is both and more 🙂

The session is not for experienced skaters keeping it safe and more fun for those getting to grips with skating street, park or bowl.

      Come and try it out!

      See you soon,

      BAYSIXTY6

Hey, for the event can i come but not have a lesson but free-ride? I am a beginner at free line skating and just wanted to skate around without the risk of clashing into a big fella doing stunts? Is that possible to freeride or do i have to go only for the lesson?

    Hi there,

So I am looking to attend a group skate lesson at the park on a Sunday.

Does one pay £10 (i.e. for the lesson), or is it £15 (for the lesson plus entry to the park). I suspect it’s the latter and don’t mind if it is, rather I just wanted to check so I know how much cash to bring on the day.

    Thanks.

      Hi Leanne,

Yes, it is the latter, the session is Beginners Only so calmer than a normal session then the Instructor charges for the Group Lesson if you wish to join in.

All kit is available to hire too!

      Thanks,

      BAYSIXTY6

    Hi
My daughter is 7. She has never been on a skate board before but wants to learn to skate. Is group beginners sessions suitable for her? Would that be £15? Do we need to book or just turn up??
Plus how much to hire the equipment as I would like her to have a go before we buy?
    Thanks
    Gemma

      Hi Gemma,

Yes Beginners Only will be perfect for your daughter!

Beginners Only is £5 for entry and skate, if you want to join in a beginners group lesson then that will be an additional £10.
No need to book for these sessions or the beginners group lessons (we add instructors depending on demand) so yes, just turn up!

We hire skateboards, helmets and protection as needed, see more here https://www.baysixty6.com/find-us/equipment-hire/

      See you soon,

We don’t require ID but will need you to register online and give parental consent on our electronic waiver (this can be done at the park but will save you time if done online beforehand) just use the ‘Register Now’ link at the top of our website.

Generally we have a minimum age of 7 which is subject to management discretion so please call us on 020 8969 4669 for a quick assessment.

See you all on the 9th,

      BAYSIXTY6

    Hi,

Is it possible to pay by card or is it cash only? If it’s cash only, is there an ATM at or near the venue?

    Thanks,

    Hi,
I’m 16 years old and would love to learn to skate. Currently, I am just able to push and turn.
What else should I learn before this session, and is there a maximum age?
    Thanks in advance

      Hi Anthony,

No need to learn anything else ahead of trying out Beginners Only!

Start in Beginners Only with a complimentary Park Orientation, just ask our staff and someone will show you the ropes.

You can join in a Group Lesson for Beginners in that Session or book a One to One to speed things up…
Skate Camp over Easter is another one to check out

There is no maximum age although we are yet to see any 80 year olds!

Register first at the top of the page and we’ll see you soon…

Hello, can our daughter age 9 join the Beginners during our weekend stay in London? We’re from Norway, but she understands English, and speaks a little. Thank you, and happy Easter!
